1) Turn off your electronics and get off social media.

2) Stick to a bedtime (yes a bedtime!) This will help to set a routine for yourself.

3) Avoid eating a large meal prior to sleeping. ***YOU CAN EAT BEFORE BED*** just ensure its not too large of a meal as it may be more difficult to fall asleep due to digestion issues.

4) Avoid caffeine; chocolate or sugary foods before bed as this will most likely keep you up!

5) Try to make your room as dark as you can. When your room is dark you actually release melatonin, which is a sleep hormone in our bodies.
