Build a Booty- Tips to Build Your Glutes

Before we get into the tips to build your glutes, you need to understand the science and anatomy of the glutes. There are 3 muscles involved within the glutes. We have the gluteus maxiumum, the gluteus minimum and the gluteus medius. These muscles are used every single day when we do activities such as walking but in order for them to grow, we need to isolate them in our training.

If you’re looking to increase the size of a muscle, you need to use progressive overload and train them intensely.

How can you ensure progressive overload?

1️⃣ Increase your reps while using the same weight.

If you always do 10 reps with 15lbs, try 12 reps with 15lbs.

2️⃣ Lift heavier loads with the same rep range.

Instead of lifting 15lbs with 10 reps, try increasing the weight to 20lbs with 10 reps.

3️⃣ Increase the number of sets you do.

Try adding an extra set to your workouts. Instead of doing 3 sets of squats, try 4 sets.
